Ingredients: "Snickers" Protein Bark
- 25 pitted Medjool dates, split in half
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
- 1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts
- 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted
- Pinch of flaky sea salt
Directions: "Snickers" Protein Bark
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
- Arrange the halved dates, cut-side up, in the center of the tray, edge to edge
- Flatten the dates using a rolling pic or the bottom of a heavy glass to create an even layer
- In a bowl, mix the peanut butter with the chocolate protein powder until well combined
- Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the flattened dates
- Sprinkle the peanuts in an even layer on top
- Pour the melted dark chocolate over the peanut layer, spreading it evenly
- Sprinkle with flaky sea salt
- Freeze for at least 2 hours, until firm
- Break apart to cut into pieces
Storage Tip: Keep bark stored in the freezer. Before eating, let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes for the best texture.
