"Snickers" Protein Bark

Ingredients: "Snickers" Protein Bark

  • 25 pitted Medjool dates, split in half 
  • 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 scoop Chocolate Whey Protein Powder
  • 1/2 cup roasted salted peanuts
  • 4 ounces dark chocolate, melted
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt

Directions: "Snickers" Protein Bark

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  • Arrange the halved dates, cut-side up, in the center of the tray, edge to edge
  • Flatten the dates using a rolling pic or the bottom of a heavy glass to create an even layer
  • In a bowl, mix the peanut butter with the chocolate protein powder until well combined
  • Spread the peanut butter mixture evenly over the flattened dates 
  • Sprinkle the peanuts in an even layer on top
  • Pour the melted dark chocolate over the peanut layer, spreading it evenly
  • Sprinkle with flaky sea salt 
  • Freeze for at least 2 hours, until firm
  • Break apart to cut into pieces

Storage Tip: Keep bark stored in the freezer. Before eating, let them sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes for the best texture.
