Peanut Butter Chocolate Pro-oat-tein Bars

Ingredients: Peanut Butter Chocolate Pro-oat-tein Bars

  • 2 cups rolled oats 
  • 1/2 cup peanuts, shelled
  • 1/3 cup butter 
  • 3/4 creamy peanut butter 
  • 1/2 cup honey 
  • 3 scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Powder 
  • 3 oz chocolate chunks 

Directions: Peanut Butter Chocolate Pro-oat-tein Bars

  • Preheat oven to 350*. Spread the oats and peanuts on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes, stirring halfway, until lightly toasted. 
  • In a small saucepan, combine butter. peanut butter, and honey. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously, until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat. 
  • In a large bowl, mix the toasted oats and peanuts with the melted peanut butter mixture and stir to combine. Then, add the protein powder and mix until fully incorporated. 
  • Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch pan. Use the bottom of a cup of measuring cup to press it down firmly. Let cool for 10 minutes. Add the chocolate chunks on top and press them lightly into their mixture. 
  • Let the bars cool completely, then cut into pieces. 

Storage Tip: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for a firmer texture.
