Ingredients: Peanut Butter Chocolate Pro-oat-tein Bars
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup peanuts, shelled
- 1/3 cup butter
- 3/4 creamy peanut butter
- 1/2 cup honey
- 3 scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Powder
- 3 oz chocolate chunks
Directions: Peanut Butter Chocolate Pro-oat-tein Bars
- Preheat oven to 350*. Spread the oats and peanuts on a rimmed baking sheet and bake for 12 minutes, stirring halfway, until lightly toasted.
- In a small saucepan, combine butter. peanut butter, and honey. Heat over low heat, stirring continuously, until fully melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl, mix the toasted oats and peanuts with the melted peanut butter mixture and stir to combine. Then, add the protein powder and mix until fully incorporated.
- Transfer the mixture to a 9x13-inch pan. Use the bottom of a cup of measuring cup to press it down firmly. Let cool for 10 minutes. Add the chocolate chunks on top and press them lightly into their mixture.
- Let the bars cool completely, then cut into pieces.
Storage Tip: Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or refrigerate for a firmer texture.
